| Buggy Room |
I couldn't have been happier with the results. I chose a bug/outdoor theme, complete with a little tree house for their critters. Their room included just about every bug that a little boy would want to catch and put in a jar.
Entering the room, I attached a long measuring tape to some more press board to create a growth stick for each of the boys. On the back of the board I added a frame hook so that the measuring board could be moved.
There was an 8" X 7" tree with wooden slabs nailed to the trunk for steps up to the tree fort shelf. Under the tree, I painted several little lighting bugs, that when the lights went out at night, gave a little surprise, they glowed!!! I used glow-in-the-dark paint for the "bulb" portion and used glitter on their wings to give then that little zaz.
Above each of their beds, there were little "leaf" letters with bugs munching out their names.
To finish off the room for two very busy boys, I painted a piece of press board with several layers of magnetic paint. Then sprayed it with black chalkboard paint and then with a buggy shrub boarder.
